Jaikishan Dayabhai Panchal was part of prolific music composer duo Shankarlal Jaikishan along with Shankar Singh. Jaikishan was born on 4 November 1929.He started his career as harmonium player and song composer at Prithvi Theatre on the reference of Shankar. After developing a close friendship, they got their break as a music composer in Raj Kapoors Aag(1948). They collaborated with singers like Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhonsle, Mohammed Rafi, Manna Dey and many more. Their famous songs were Hawa Main Udata Jaye, Aaja Ke Intzar Main, Hum Tuzase Mohabbat Kar Ke Sanam, Ai Mere Dil Kahin Aur Chal and many more. They composed an amazing masterpiece with folk and Indian classical element. Jaikishan died on 12 September 1971.
